Kylie Foster


Foster is recognized by Australian and international audiences for her recurring roles in popular Australian series. In 1979, she made her debut to television appearing as Belinda Phipps in Skyways, a series set in an airport. She is highly recognized and remembered for her role as the wicked Angela Angel Adams in the classic prison drama Prisoner, in its sixth season in 1984, playing a seemingly innocent young woman until her true colours are revealed, and she is soon seen to be a jealous and spoiled brat her jealously spirals out of control when she has officer Meg Morris raped, and the other inmates seek revenge for Meg by cutting off Angels hair. Angel soon cracks, stabbing officer Joan Ferguson and putting bleach in Marlene Warrens shampoo. Her character was sent to a mental institution. She also appeared in two other recurring roles on soap operas Neighbours in its first season in 1985 as Wendy Gibson and Home and Away in its second season in 1989 as Leanne Dunn.
